Role Overview:
The AGM – Talent Acquisition is a senior, high-impact role at Chai Point's Corporate Office. The incumbent will own end-to-end corporate hiring across both XP (Retail Stores) and EW (Enterprise Vending) business verticals, while simultaneously building the talent management infrastructure that enables the organisation to develop, engage, and retain its best people. Reporting to the Head – People & Culture, this role is a key strategic partner to business leadership and is expected to drive measurable people outcomes across the talent lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Talent Acquisition
- Own full-cycle recruitment for all corporate and leadership roles across functions (Sales, Finance, Marketing, Technology, Operations, HR) for both XP and EW verticals
- Define and execute sourcing strategies leveraging LinkedIn, job boards, search partners, and employee referral programmes to build high-quality talent pipelines
- Manage vendor and search agency relationships; negotiate terms and drive efficiency across cost-per-hire and time-to-fill metrics
- Lead employer branding initiatives to position Chai Point as an employer of choice
- Drive structured interviewing frameworks – JD design, competency mapping, and assessment tools – for consistency and quality of hire
- Deliver weekly/monthly hiring dashboards to leadership; track key TA metrics including TAT, offer-to-join ratio, source mix, and quality of hire
- Partner with the CEO on senior and leadership hiring mandates with high precision and confidentiality
B. Talent Management
- Design and operationalise the annual Performance Management cycle – goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end appraisals – for all corporate grades
- Build and maintain a succession planning framework for critical roles across all verticals; identify and develop high-potential talent pools
- Partner with HRBPs and business heads to identify skill gaps and co-create Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for identified talent
- Own the Growth Path career framework for corporate employees; ensure role-level clarity, career progression pathways, and internal mobility
- Lead retention risk identification and counter-offer protocols; support HRBPs in reducing regrettable attrition at corporate levels
C. Strategic HR & Corporate HRBP
- Act as Corporate HRBP for select functions – provide advisory support on org design, workforce planning, and people strategy
- Prepare and present people analytics and talent insights – attrition trends, headcount, bench strength, diversity – to the CEO and senior leadership
- Lead or co-lead cross-functional HR projects including policy reviews, reward & recognition frameworks, and compliance initiatives
- Partner with Finance on headcount planning, manpower budgets, and cost-of-hire analysis
Requirements:
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution
- 12-15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
- Prior experience in F&B, Retail, QSR, FMCG, or high-growth consumer brands strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of managing corporate and leadership hiring end-to-end, including CEO-level mandates
- Strong data orientation – ability to build HR dashboards, business cases, and ROI frameworks; proficient in Excel and HRMS reporting
- Experience presenting people strategy decks and business cases to C-suite stakeholders
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills; high degree of professional maturity and confidentiality
