Job Description

Job Title (Tech Specialist) Recruiter
Location – Corporate Office

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to lead end-to-end hiring for technology roles, ensuring high-quality talent acquisition through strong technical understanding, sourcing capability, and stakeholder management. The role ensures hiring is fast, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop hiring strategies for technology roles across functions
  • Provide insights on tech talent market, skills, and compensation trends
  • Build strong talent pipelines for future hiring needs

Operational Responsibilities

End-to-End Tech Hiring

  • Manage complete hiring lifecycle
  • Partner with tech leaders to define role requirements and expectations
  • Ensure timely closures and high offer-to-joining ratios

Tech Talent Sourcing

  • Source candidates through:
  • LinkedIn
  • GitHub, Stack Overflow
  • Tech communities and networks
  • Build strong passive talent pipelines

Candidate Evaluation

  • Conduct first-level screening with strong tech understanding
  • Assess:
  • Tech stack knowledge
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Project experience

Stakeholder & Candidate Management

  • Work closely with hiring managers for feedback and alignment
  • Ensure seamless candidate experience

Hiring Governance & Metrics

  • Track hiring metrics (TAT, conversion ratios, quality)
  • Maintain dashboards and ensure process adherence

Financial Responsibilities

  • Optimize hiring cost through effective sourcing channels
  • Reduce agency dependency through direct hiring models

Skills and Qualifications

  • Preferred: B.Tech + MBA (HR)
  • 5–10 years of experience in technology hiring
  • Strong exposure to hiring across:
  • Developers
  • Data/AI roles
  • Cloud & DevOps

Educational Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.E. (preferred) in Computer Science / IT / related field
  • MBA / PGDM in HR (preferred) from a reputed institute
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (mandatory if not B.Tech, but with strong tech hiring experience)

Preferred Certifications

  • Certification in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Analytics
  • LinkedIn Talent Solutions / Advanced sourcing certifications (desirable)
  • Certifications in HR Analytics / Data-driven hiring (preferred)
  • Exposure to certifications/courses in emerging tech domains (AI, Cloud, Data) – added advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of tech stacks and frameworks
  • Strong sourcing and screening capability
  • Data-driven hiring approach

Behavioural Competencies

  • High ownership and closure focus
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Curiosity about evolving technology trendse & responsibilities
