Wise Staffing Group is now seeking a Regional Sales Director to join our Middle Tennessee team!
Role requires frequent travel and is on-site/on-the-road only.
Opportunity comes with a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 - $125,000 annually. Additional compensation includes office commission, personal sales commission (UNCAPPED AND PAID WEEKLY), mileage reimbursement, and a cell phone allowance.
Role Summary:
The Regional Sales Director is a goal-oriented, highly motivated person with strong B2B sales ability and experience within the staffing industry. This role is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue across multiple markets through the generation of new business and development of branch staff. This is accomplished by prospecting and closing new opportunities, leveraging existing relationships, and mentoring teams. The Regional Sales Director will direct both operational and sales teams within assigned territory along with building a personal book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Reports territory performance data to executive leadership with accuracy.
- Leads each branch in assigned territory through the coaching and development of both sales and operations team.
- Makes decisions regarding the hiring, training, discipline, and termination of internal staff.
- Sets a strong example of consistently meeting goals and expectations for reporting team.
- Creates and implements a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Develops strategic improvement plans to meet long and short-term goals.
- Promotes Wise Staffing Group's services while predicting client objectives.
- Prepares sales contracts, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines. Negotiates with clients to meet mutually beneficial agreements.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, and other relevant information for each branch within assigned territory. Accurately calculates branch growth and estimates upcoming territory performance.
- Provides trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to clients. Begins develops, and maintains strong, long-lasting relationships with new customers while nurturing existing clientele.
- Meets or exceeds personal sales quotas while holding assigned territory accountable for performance goals.
- Actively evaluates team performance and proactively addresses issues with plans for improvement. Ensures each branch reaches growth targets as projected.
Key Success Factors:
- Ability to close deals and negotiate contracts with clients
- Effective customer and colleague communication skills
- Awareness of industry trends, competitor landscape, and local market dynamics
- Understanding of financial metrics, sales forecasting, and revenue generation
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and other basic computer skills
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of multi-location leadership
- 3+ years of B2B sales/business development
- 4+ years within the staffing industry
Work Setting:
The Regional Sales Director requires up to 80% travel. This individual will travel to all branches within assigned territory regularly. Overnight travel may be required (lodging will be arranged by corporate). This role requires the usage of a personal cell phone for business related communications and reliable transportation. Compensation package includes mileage reimbursement and a phone allowance.
