Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at a site level. This role partners closely with leadership to drive employee engagement, support workforce planning, and ensure compliance with employment practices while fostering a positive and productive workplace.


Compensation: up to $115K + bonus potential


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, performance management, and organizational initiatives
  • Maintain a visible presence within the operation to build relationships and stay connected to workforce needs
  • Lead investigations and resolve employee relations concerns with professionalism and discretion
  • Partner with department leaders to improve HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices
  • Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to meet operational needs
  • Monitor staffing metrics including turnover, absenteeism, and headcount trends
  • Oversee vendor relationships related to contingent labor and workforce services
  • Supervise payroll and benefits administration to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Deliver training programs focused on leadership development, compliance, and performance improvement
  • Mentor supervisors to strengthen leadership capability and employee engagement


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced environment (logistics strongly desired)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
  • Experience managing employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with operational leadership
  • HR certification (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
