Job Description

A company in Oklahoma City is looking to hire a Human Resources Manager for their team. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, compliance, training and development, and policy implementation. This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Administer performance evaluation processes and provide guidance to supervisors.
  • Assist managers in developing employee performance improvement plans.
  • Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration and act as a liaison with benefit providers.
  • Assist with compensation analysis and salary administration.
  • Ensure accurate employee records and HRIS data management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and related reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate employee training programs and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Identify organizational training needs and recommend solutions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Experience in employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
