Compensation: $120,000–$135,000 Base + Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Financial Systems & Solutions (FSS) to support strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, and finance transformation projects across a complex manufacturing environment.

This is a highly visible individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of accounting, ERP systems, process improvement, and post-merger integration. Rather than focusing on day-to-day accounting operations, this position serves as the finance lead on acquisitions, business expansions, ERP initiatives, and process optimization efforts.

The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, hands-on ERP experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to independently solve complex business and system-related challenges.

What You'll Do

Lead Post-Merger Finance Integrations

• Serve as the finance point of contact for newly acquired businesses during integration.
• Evaluate ERP systems, transaction flows, chart of accounts, accounting processes, and control environments.
• Develop and execute integration plans, conversion strategies, and data mapping requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to successfully onboard acquired entities into the company's finance operating model.
• Identify and resolve accounting, process, and system-related issues throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, reporting standards, and governance requirements.

Drive ERP & Finance Systems Initiatives

• Support ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and configuration activities.
• Translate accounting and business requirements into functional system solutions.
• Support finance processes including:
• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Revenue Recognition
• Cost Accounting
• Intercompany Transactions
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment readiness, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and external consultants on system improvements.

Improve Financial Processes & Controls

• Investigate and resolve ERP-related accounting issues, reconciliation variances, and transaction flow discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Support internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance initiatives.
• Manage finance-related support tickets and issue resolution activities.

Collaborate Across the Business

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and external partners.
• Support reporting, data governance, and KPI development efforts.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on integration and project status.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance Systems, ERP Implementation, Financial Transformation, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and how financial transactions flow through ERP systems.
• Experience with at least one major ERP platform, such as Oracle EBS (preferred), SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Other enterprise ERP solutions
• Knowledge of US GAAP, Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Cost Accounting, Intercompany Accounting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA (US or International)
• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience
• Oracle EBS R12 experience
• Experience supporting multiple ERP platforms
• Post-merger integration or acquisition integration experience
• SOX compliance and internal controls experience
• Power BI, Smartsheet, Snowflake, Lucid chart, or automation tools experience
• Spanish language skills strongly preferred
• Portuguese language skills a plus
