Role and Responsibilities

Architecture Design: Define and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based microservices architecture.

Technical Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support development teams, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews to ensure best practices.

System Transformation: Evaluate, refactor, and migrate existing monolithic applications to modern, scalable Java technologies.

Cloud Strategy: Provide architectural guidance on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.

Collaboration: Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other architects to define project requirements, deliverables, and milestones.

Data Strategy: Design robust data models, focusing on MySQL on premise and on cloud.

Governance & Security: Define and enforce security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway) and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Vital:
• Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Core Java: Deep expertise in Java 8, 11, 17, or 21, and JVM performance tuning.
• Frameworks: Mastery of Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA, Hibernate).
• Architecture: Strong experience in designing Microservices, RESTful APIs, and SOA.
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Database: Proficient in SQL database design and optimization.
• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Essential:
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies
• Build dynamic and responsive front-end applications using ReactJS, Redux, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose adoption as appropriate.
