Job Description
Technical skill : Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Database (12c/19c )
- Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL development
- Strong command over SQL performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience with:
- Indexing strategies
- Partitioning
- Execution plan analysis
Good to have:
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments
- Familiarity with shell scripting
- Experience with data warehousing concepts
Key Responsibility
- Experience working with large data volumes and complex schemas
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, indexes, views, packages, procedures, and functions
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL code for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and optimization techniques
- Work closely with application teams to support data modeling, schema design, and database integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve database‑related issues in development, QA, and production environments
- Support data migration, data validation, and release deployments
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and architectural decisions
