Job Summary
- Designing, coding, testing, and implementing complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- Writing and maintaining database scripts to support application development and testing
- Debugging and fixing PL/SQL code to ensure it performs optimally and meets requirements
- Collaborating with database administrators, software developers, and business analysts to define requirements and design solutions
- Developing and maintaining database security, including access control and data encryption
- Performing database performance tuning to ensure optimal performance and scalability
- Implementing and maintaining database backup and recovery procedures
- Documenting database structures, PL/SQL code, and development processes
- Should have excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
