• Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms is always useful
• Having a knack of solving every problem at hand without giving up is a skill that should be acquired
• Lists, graphs, trees and sorting are some fundamental concepts that one should grasp on Basics of C/C++ (pointers, memory allocation etc.) should be strong. Explanation of sorting techniques can also be asked. Be prepared to explain an entire project in detail. Thinking out loud while solving a coding question is beneficial. Puzzles and riddles can also be asked.
