Job Description
The Vice President, Finance Shared Services partners with senior leadership to execute the shared services strategy and oversee finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, SOX, gaming regulations, and internal controls. This leader drives process improvements, operational efficiencies, and technology initiatives while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. The role also focuses on building strong cross-functional relationships, developing high-performing teams, and leading talent acquisition, employee engagement, and succession planning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of accounting/finance experience within hospitality or gaming, including significant leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and casino management systems.
- Proven ability to partner with executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
- CPA and/or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with gaming regulations, process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), and project management (PMP) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-function finance shared services operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and gaming regulations.
- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, general ledger integrity, and account reconciliations across multiple business units.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and systems implementations to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives and communicate organizational performance.
- Build strong relationships with business partners while ensuring high levels of customer service and SLA performance.
- Manage, develop, and mentor finance leaders, supporting talent development and succession planning.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
