Title: Recruiter – Consulting
Location: Onsite – 3 days a week - Chicago, IL 60607
Duration: 3-6 months (potential to convert at end of the year)
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7–10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (consulting or professional services preferred)
- Experience recruiting within professional services / consulting environments
- Proven ability to build candidate pipelines
- Experience with LinkedIn, Workday and EightFold
- Ability to recruit across multiple business lines simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
Plusses:
- Previous agency recruiting experience
- Familiarity with Big 4 or healthcare consulting talent markets
- Experience supporting healthcare consulting or hospital-focused advisory team
Day to Day:
We are seeking a highly strategic Recruiter to support our client's Consulting Division, a nationally recognized healthcare advisory firm focused on financial and operational performance improvement for hospital systems. This recruiter will partner closely with consulting leadership to attract top-tier talent across multiple service lines, supporting engagements that help healthcare organizations improve financial performance, optimize operations, and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across the client’s consulting division
- Partner directly with consulting leaders supporting multiple service lines such as:
- Performance Improvement
- Capital Advisory
- Strategy & Operations
- Financial Operations
- Revenue Cycle / Cost Optimization
- Recruit for consulting professionals supporting hospital systems
- Own hiring for ~40–50 positions annually across mid-level to senior consulting talent
- Manage the full hiring lifecycle from intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer negotiation to onboarding
- Build and maintain proactive candidate pipelines
- Leverage network and referrals to identify talent
- Act as a consultative talent partner to hiring managers, advising on: Talent market trends, Candidate profiling and interview strategy and Workforce planning across service lines
