Addison Group is partnering with a rapidly growing, publicly traded global leader to identify a Senior Financial Reporting Manager.

This highly visible role will serve as a subject matter expert on SEC reporting, technical accounting, and equity-based compensation while partnering closely with Controllership, Legal, Tax, FP&A, Investor Relations, and external auditors to support accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and filing of 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and other SEC filings
• Manage and mentor the SEC Reporting team
• Research and resolve complex accounting and reporting matters
• Oversee equity-based compensation, dividends, and EPS reporting
• Lead implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements
• Review XBRL tagging and ensure SEC filing compliance
• Partner with external auditors and cross-functional teams on reporting matters
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting efficiencies
• Support internal controls, statutory reporting, and special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA required
• 8+ years of public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience with technical accounting, equity compensation, and financial disclosures
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Workiva or similar reporting tools preferred
• XBRL experience preferred

• Base salary: $160K–$175K + 25% annual bonus
