Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant with a focus on Fixed Assets to join the finance team at a leading healthcare system in Oklahoma City. This individual will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of fixed assets while also supporting broader accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the fixed asset lifecycle (additions, disposals, transfers, tracking)
• Calculate and record monthly depreciation in accordance with accounting policies
• Support month-end and year-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting)
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger
• Partner with departments to ensure proper capitalization of projects and expenses
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and variance reports
• Assist with internal/external audits, including documentation and support
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Identify and support process improvements within accounting operations

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with fixed asset accounting and depreciation
• Experience supporting month-end close and reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
• High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines

Preferred Qualifications (Plusses)

• Experience in healthcare accounting (hospital or health system)
• Exposure to capital projects / capital asset tracking
• ERP experience (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• CPA or CPA-eligible
