XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is NOW HIRING for a Construction Staffing Recruiter Dallas/Houston !
Location: Dallas/Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $22.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Staffing Recruiter to join our team and support the recruitment of commercial construction and skilled trades professionals. This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates while maintaining strong relationships with applicants, employees, and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction recruiting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced staffing environment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, source, and screen candidates for commercial construction and skilled trades positions.
- Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates’ experience, qualifications, and job fit.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified construction professionals.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and required hiring documentation.
- Maintain communication with candidates, employees, and clients throughout the hiring process.
- Work closely with the sales team to quickly and efficiently fulfill staffing needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, hiring procedures, and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and provide timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Strong background in construction recruiting is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- Knowledge of commercial construction trades, including electricians, welders, plumbers, carpenters, sheet metal mechanics, and other skilled trades.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and recruiting software.
- Staffing industry experience is preferred.
