Commercial Credit Analyst
Location: Coral Gables, FL (Onsite 4 days/week, Remote 1 day/week)

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Credit Analyst with a strong background in commercial credit analysis and underwriting to support our lending team. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan requests by evaluating financial statements, cash flow, collateral, industry trends, and borrower creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda and underwriting recommendations for new and existing commercial lending relationships.
- Perform financial spreading and ratio analysis to assess repayment capacity and overall credit risk.
- Review covenant compliance, borrowing base certificates, and ongoing portfolio performance.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to structure credit facilities that align with the bank's lending policies and risk appetite.
- Conduct industry and market research to support credit decisions.
- Ensure all credit packages comply with regulatory requirements and internal underwriting standards.
- Present findings and recommendations to credit officers and loan committees as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis and underwriting experience within a banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit risk assessment.
- Experience underwriting commercial and industrial (C&I) and/or commercial real estate (CRE) loans.
- LATAM banking or commercial lending experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and commercial loan underwriting systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
