Strategic FP&A leader driving enterprise planning, analytics, and GCC capability growth while building strong relationships and influencing global stakeholders to deliver insight-driven business outcomes.
The Sr. Manager – FP&A will lead Financial Planning & Analysis within Medline's Pune Global Capability Center, serving as a strategic finance partner to global (US and international) stakeholders. The role combines enterprise‑wide financial planning, performance management, analytics, and reporting excellence with people leadership and GCC capability building.
This position is expected to evolve FP&A India from a strong delivery engine into a scaled, strategic, insight‑driven finance capability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning & Decision Support
- Lead strategic planning, AOP, and rolling forecasts aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Provide forward‑looking insights, scenario analysis, and risk assessment to support business decisions.
- Own enterprise monthly management reporting and variance analysis with meaningful business insights.
- Track KPIs and financial trends to identify risks and opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders, supporting key initiatives and informed trade‑offs through data‑driven insights.
- Lead FP&A delivery from the Pune GCC and position the team as a high‑value global finance partner.
- Transition and expand scope of global FP&A work through standardization and best practices.
- Strengthen financial modeling, analytics, automation, and FP&A tools to improve efficiency and insight quality.
- Drive continuous improvement and strong data governance.
- Lead, coach, and develop FP&A managers and analysts; build capabilities, talent pipeline and high‑performance culture.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and ethical standards.
- Operate with a global, enterprise mindset
- Build influence through credibility, insights, and people leadership
- Transition FP&A India GCC from support function to strategic capability engine
- Balance near‑term execution excellence with long‑term capability building
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Strong experience in FP&A at an offshore GCC
- Strong finance and accounting fundamentals with business acumen
- Strategic thinking with ability to link business events to financial impact and risk
- Data‑driven decision‑making, comfort with ambiguity, and problem‑solving mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Continuous learner with awareness of regulatory, macro, and micro‑economic trends
- 15+ years of experience in FP&A / business partnering roles in US or Indian multinational organizations
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and senior stakeholders
- 6+ years of people management experience, leading teams of 10–15+ finance professionals
- CA / CMA / MBA (preferred: IIMs / ISB / FMS)
