Job Description
- Proven experience of 6-8 years as a Ruby on Rails developer
- Strong understanding of the Ruby language and its nuances.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Ruby scripts for multiple needs.
- Expertise in the Ruby on Rails framework and its core principles (MVC, RESTful architecture, Active Record, etc.).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, AngularJS) is a significant plus.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and advanced design patterns: Design Principles.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, SQLite) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) concepts.
- Familiarity with concepts of Mocking and testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
- Experience with API frameworks and API integration.
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize code for performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Familiarity with Clinical trial domain is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a cross-functional project team
