Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Java
- Implement mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and iOS platforms
- Ensure robust test coverage across UI, API, and system integration layers
CI/CD Integration & DevOps Practices
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git
- Ensure continuous testing within DevOps workflows for faster release cycles
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment quality and efficiency
Behavior & Test Driven Development
- Implement BDD practices using Cucumber for behavior-driven test scenarios
- Apply TDD methodologies to improve early defect detection and code quality
- Align test strategies with agile development practices
API & Integration Testing
- Perform API testing using Postman and SoapUI
- Validate system integration flows across distributed enterprise applications
- Ensure data consistency across integrated services
Test Data & Quality Management
- Manage test data requirements for automation and system testing
- Use tools like Zephyr for test case management and execution tracking
- Ensure proper traceability of test cases and results
System Integration & End-to-End Testing
- Conduct system integration testing across multiple application components
- Validate end-to-end business workflows in complex enterprise environments
- Ensure application stability and functional correctness
Accessibility & Specialized Testing
- Perform accessibility testing using JAWS to ensure compliance with accessibility standards
- Identify usability gaps and ensure inclusive application design
Collaboration & Engineering Support
- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategies
