We are looking for Quality Engineer (Mechanical)

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer (Mechanical) at our project location in Dahod, Gujarat. The Quality Engineer will report to Quality Manager.
Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement quality systems: Create and update quality control systems, inspection criteria, and procedures to ensure product and process compliance.
- Conduct inspections and testing: Perform quality inspections on mechanical components, materials, and equipment at various stages of production.
- Analyze data and identify issues: Collect and analyze data on defects and performance to identify trends and root causes for quality issues.
- Implement corrective actions: Investigate production and product issues and coordinate the implementation of corrective actions to improve quality and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are understood and met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support audits: Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards like ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018
- Document and report: Create detailed reports on findings, corrective actions, and quality metrics.
- Continual Improvement: Lead Electrical improvement and Kaizen at Site
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and relevant quality control methodologies of Rolling stock Industries
- Statistical proficiency: Experience with statistical methods, control charts, and process capability analysis is often required.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly in reports and to different teams.
