About Position:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for defining, developing, and implementing quality assurance practices and procedures are well test plans and other QA assessment. He / she will work collaboratively with development teams during all stages of projects to provide in process testing results. He / she must have the ability to do the development of multiple platforms and framework for using any Tech stacks.

What You'll Do:

• Actionable Quality Assurance Engineering & Team Management
• Drive the squad's test strategy and test efforts, e.g. taking the initiative to automate Both functional and non-functional requirement where possible and coaching others
• Identify the right tool and tech stack for the quality engineering team.
• Carry out exploratory testing within an agile development environment.
• Perform end-to-end tests in relation to larger releases with external stakeholders
• Manage and drive SDETs for one or more squads
• Processes and Procedures
• Own the process during test periods where functionality is tested across several squads and departments
• Be an active participant in grooming and planning, to ensure that acceptance criteria are testable
• Define the right release process, successful rollout of the process
• Collaboration and Support Sit together with Product Owner, Engineers while user stories are developed, bringing input and helping with the testing angle
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and support engineers to correctly identify priorities and resolve issues
• Human Capital Responsibilities
• Helping the org to build the next level team.
• Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure the facilitation of training requirements
• Develop and implement job training for the team

Expertise You'll Bring:

• B-Tech/bachelor’s degree in computer science from leading institutes.
• 4-6 years worked as a Quality engineer/SDET role in a fast space, agile development setup preferably in banking and fintech space
• Experience with developing platforms and reviewing the code written by the team Comfortable in handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Have sound knowledge of Java/ Python / Golang/ Node JS / React JS
• Experience with Cypress / any other Typescript based automation tool
• Good understanding of mobile automation tools like XCUITest, Espresso, Detox, Appium
• Have sound knowledge of API automation tools like REST Assured / Pytest /Unirest Good understanding of performance and load testing tools like Locust/ Gatling/ K6
• Experience in CI/ CD tools like Jenkins/ Circleci / Azure pipeline / Bitrise
• Strong testing fundamental and able to drive and mentor junior team members Basic understanding of GCP / AWS / Azure cloud Infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of web and app-based testing and architecture
