• Provide assistance and support to Morningstar s Legal operations in the Americas, EMEA and India
• This position will be based in Mumbai and will report into the Senior Legal Counsel, Corporate Services, for North America, located in the United States, with a matrix reporting line in to the Senior Legal Counsel, Corporate Services, for India
• This role has a diverse set of responsibilities, including assistance with project coordination, contract documentation, fact gathering, and research, covering matters relating to procurement, employment, real estate
• This position is a coordination and operational position, and will not involve the provision of legal advice

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of the Legal Department s matters and support workflows, task lists, status updates, factfinding, discovery, and overall legal matter organization;
• Assist Legal Team with special projects and responsibilities in the Legal Department, as needed;
• Assist Legal Team with review and vetting of contracts;
• Assist Legal Team in the collection of responses to due diligence questions;
• Be the local liaising point between Legal Team in the Americas, EMEA and India;
• Coordinating with business and functional units to obtain necessary information and documents on behalf of the Legal Department; and
• Other administrative and operational tasks, as needed.
