Manager – Projects (Civil/Electrical)

About the Role

The role is responsible for end to end execution of new store rollouts and store fitout projects,

ensuring timely delivery within budget and in line with brand standards. The Project Manager will

drive crossfunctional coordination between design, vendors, mall/developers, and internal teams

to ensure seamless store launches.

Responsibilities

Store Rollout Planning

• Prepare store rollout plans in line with business expansion strategy
• Define timelines covering design, approvals, fitout, and handover
• Plan project schedules with clear milestones and dependencies

Store FitOut Execution

• Manage endtoend store fitout activities from site handover to store opening
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, layouts, and quality standards
• Supervise civil, electrical, HVAC, fixtures, and signage work

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Identify and onboard vendors, contractors, and suppliers
• Negotiate and manage contracts, costs, and timelines
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality delivery

CrossFunctional Coordination

• Work closely with:
• Design & VM (Visual Merchandising) teams
• Buying & Merchandising (for assortment readiness)
• IT (billing systems, infrastructure setup)
• HR & Operations (store readiness)

Approvals & Compliance

• Coordinate with landlords, and local authorities
• Ensure all statutory approvals and compliance requirements are met
• Manage documentation and site approvals to avoid delays

Budget & Cost Control

• Manage project budgets and capex planning
• Track expenses against budget and control cost overruns
• Optimize costs without compromising quality

Timeline & Project Tracking

• Monitor project progress against timelines
• Identify risks and proactively drive mitigation plans
• Ensure stores are delivered on time, ready to trade

MIS & Reporting

• Maintain regular project status reports and dashboards
• Share updates with leadership on:
• Project status
• Delays / risks
• Budget utilization
