Role & responsibilities
1. Customer Financing & Deal Structuring
- Design and offer financing solutions (EMI, leasing, pay-per-use, deferred payment plans) for medical equipment sales
- Structure deals in collaboration with banks, NBFCs, and leasing companies
- Evaluate customer financials (balance sheet, cash flows, credit history)
- Customize financing models for hospitals, labs, and standalone practitioners
2. Business Partnering with Sales
- Work closely with sales teams to improve deal conversion through financing options
- Support large/strategic deals with structured financial proposals
- Train sales teams on financing products and pitch strategies
3. Credit Assessment & Risk Management
- Conduct first level / preliminary credit risk assessment and due diligence on customers
- Liaise with lenders for credit approvals and documentation
- Monitor portfolio risk, overdue accounts, and early warning signals
4. Channel Financing / Vendor Financing
- Develop and manage financing programs for distributors and channel partners
- Structure working capital solutions (inventory funding, bill discounting)
- Ensure optimal utilization of credit lines
5. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Build relationships with banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and leasing firms
- Negotiate commercial terms (interest rates, processing fees, turnaround time)
- Explore innovative financing models (subscription, outcome-based pricing)
6. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (RBI, GST, healthcare compliance norms)
- Oversee legal documentation (loan agreements, hypothecation, lease contracts)
- Work with legal and compliance teams for risk mitigation
7. Reporting & Analytics
- Track financing penetration (% of sales financed)
- Monitor approval rates, TAT, NPA trends
- Provide insights to improve financing adoption and reduce deal cycle time
