Round 1 : Technical Round

• How would you help a banking client?
• What would you do if a coworker is not doing their part and is impacting the team performance?
• What is the greatest challenge you have faced and how did you overcome it?
• What work experience has been a tough challenge for you?
• What innovation have you done in your career and why?
• How would you feel comfortable not being on a project for more than 6 months?
• What if the competitor company wants to seize your customer
• Out of the available mappings in SAP PI, which is more effective?
• ITIL V3 / V4 . What is the difference between the two?
• Definition of ITSM and its processes and personal experience in ITSM.

Round 2 : HR Round

• Company focuses 60%+ of the hiring decision on the experience/fit/behavioral part of the interview – with so much invested in training, IBM trusts its own ability to develop skill provided the incoming attitude and capability is there.
• The cases are generally simple, open-ended “The client does X. What would you recommend?” IBM interviewers look for high-level structure and insight – with a little creativity (not too much, mind you) that is focused on qualitative impact (implementation or a focus on people).
• Example IBM Case Study question: Company X sells hardware, software and services. Over a 5 year period they have declining revenues and flat gross profit. What would you recommend they consider to fix the problem?
• The cases usually take ~15 minutes to complete and the interviewers love it if you include some form of technology implementation into your recommendation.
