Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Engineering Recruitment Focus)
📍 Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 Days In Office, 2 Days Remote)
A growing engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Chicago team. This role will have a strong focus on recruiting engineering professionals, with a particular emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and other highly technical disciplines that support the firm's continued growth nationwide.

What You'll Do: • Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering and technical positions across the U.S.
• Focus heavily on sourcing and recruiting Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Project Engineers, and other engineering professionals
• Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce planning and hiring needs
• Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical engineering skill sets
• Utilize innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive engineering talent
• Track recruiting metrics, hiring trends, and market intelligence
• Support employer branding initiatives and strengthen the firm's talent acquisition presence
What We're Looking For: • 3–7+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within engineering, environmental consulting, construction, or professional services environments
• Experience recruiting for highly technical roles, including engineering-focused positions
• Prior exposure to Geotechnical Engineering recruitment is highly desirable
• Strong sourcing, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to influence hiring decisions and manage multiple priorities across different business units
• Bachelor's degree preferred
