SUMMARY:

Our client is looking for a senior-level Data Scientist with strong statistical modeling, Python/SQL, and machine learning fundamentals who has recently expanded into GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and agent-based systems. This role will contribute to building (and eventually grow to own) one of their new AI decision-making platforms that will help the business make smarter decisions around operations, forecasting, optimization, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, enhance, and maintain predictive and prescriptive models.
• Analyze large datasets and develop actionable business recommendations.
• Ensure the data mined, cleansed, and engineered for models is accurate and appropriate.
• Own models associated with one of the organization's predictive/prescriptive engines.
• Integrate AI-enabled solutions leveraging Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and intelligent agents to enhance predictive and prescriptive decision-making.
• Validate model performance and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Machine Learning.
• Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, regression analysis, machine learning, or optimization techniques.
• Proficiency with scientific scripting languages (e.g., Python)
• Experience accessing and manipulating data in SQL or NoSQL database
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics, regression analysis (beyond linear regression), supervised learning, unsupervised learning, or time-series analysis.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, or related AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel or similar technologies.

Compensation: $60hr to $75hr.

Exact compensation will vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
