Role Description The Senior Account Executive, Hospice is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Philadelphia area. This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, and community organizations to drive hospice census growth. The Senior Account Executive will conduct regular outreach, schedule and lead meetings and presentations, and educate partners on CareRing Health’s hospice services and value proposition. The role includes collaborating closely with clinical and operations teams to ensure seamless patient transitions, timely follow-up on referrals, and high satisfaction among partners and families. Day-to-day activities also involve tracking sales pipeline metrics, analyzing market opportunities, contributing to territory plans, and representing CareRing Health at community events and professional networking functions.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in hospice, home health, or post-acute care sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding growth and referral targets.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills, including the ability to engage physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and community partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain hospice services clearly and compassionately.
  • Solid understanding of hospice regulations, eligibility criteria, care coordination, and the broader healthcare-at-home landscape.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, prioritize a robust schedule of visits, and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Comfort using CRM or sales tracking tools, as well as standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) for planning and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Greater Philadelphia territory.
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care, cultural humility, and working effectively with diverse patients, families, and colleagues.
