At Innovex, we deliver innovative solutions that support the energy industry through quality, reliability, and operational excellence. We are looking for a motivated Quality Engineer to join our team and help drive continuous improvement at our Kenswick manufacturing facility.
Position Summary
The Quality Engineer supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify quality improvement opportunities and optimize processes.
- Develop, review, and maintain inspection plans, procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Analyze quality data and implement improvements to enhance product reliability and manufacturing performance.
- Develop and support product quality plans, inspection criteria, and control plans.
- Conduct internal audits and support customer, supplier, and certification audits.
- Ensure compliance with API standards and applicable industry requirements.
- Perform product inspections and verify manufacturing documentation for product conformity.
- Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with supplier quality, calibration programs, nonconforming material reviews, welding qualifications, and special process validations.
- Provide quality guidance and training to production personnel.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and perform other quality-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
Experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in oil and gas manufacturing.
Familiarity with API standards.
Internal auditing experience.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, supplier quality, welding processes, and calibration systems.
