Amazon Ads is one of our fastest growing businesses and offers advertisers a rich array of media solutions inclusive of premium Live Sports properties like Thursday Night Football, NASCAR, the NWSL, and the WNBA. The insights we deliver Live Sports advertisers foster meaningful connections with consumers - from discovery to loyalty - in a unique way versus any other sports media platform at scale. We believe that Live Sports advertising, when done well, enhances the customer experience with delightful discovery for viewing fans and compelling performance for advertisers.

We are looking for a Principal Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding Sports and Real Money Gaming (RMG) team. In this role, you will report to a Sales Manager and leverage your 7+ years selling digital advertising solutions to RMG clients, and their advertising agencies. Your goal will be to effectively grow and scale the advertising revenues within this category.

Key job responsibilities

  • Driving Upfront and annual media commitments across holding companies, independent agencies, and clients directly
  • Developing and executing bespoke customer-led sports sales strategies to onboard new brands and grow existing relationships
  • Establishing and delivering the Live Sports and Amazon Ads narrative in the marketplace to grow our position and influence in sports
  • Identify opportunities to establish new innovative sports media and Amazon Ads partnerships
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets, negotiate partnerships with clients and agencies, and deliver the highest level of sales and customer service

Our ad solutions— video (inclusive of live sports and prime video), CTV, display, audio and more —leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage audiences throughout their daily journeys. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service and managed service, these solutions help our core clients' build brand awareness, and drive measurable outcomes. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams across multiple locales.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of selling programmatic or data driven ad products or platforms experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Real Money Gaming experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
