Many schools push operations into back offices, behind approval chains and meeting schedules. Alpha takes the opposite approach. This role places you front and center throughout the day: welcoming families, resolving device problems, managing smooth arrivals, reassuring anxious parents, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the campus feels secure, polished, and distinctly Alpha.
We need someone who balances warmth with firmness, stays organized without relying solely on checklists, and demonstrates confidence while remaining hands-on. You will be responsible for nearly everything beyond classroom instruction: family communication, attendance management, campus security, facility oversight, meal coordination, technology devices, events, and the minor issues that escalate quickly without prompt action.
You will not be supported by a large on-site operations team. You will have access to playbooks, remote assistance, and established standards, but you must learn quickly, leverage available resources, and exercise sound judgment independently. In return, you will become the reliable adult families recognize, the person guides depend on, and the approachable figure students turn to when something requires attention.

What You Will Be Doing
- Serve as the primary, dependable point of contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors, communicating clearly, calmly, and promptly.
- Oversee daily campus operations, including morning arrival, afternoon dismissal, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, lunch management, campus cleanliness, event execution, and facility maintenance follow-through.
- Address safety and student welfare matters, including access management, emergency drills, health-related incidents, record-keeping, and timely parent communication.
- Oversee student technology devices and essential campus systems, including initial setup, account assistance, issue diagnosis, backup procedures, repair coordination, and escalation to remote technical support.
- Cultivate trust with Guides, external vendors, and families by prioritizing helpfulness while upholding institutional standards.
- Working from a back office while others manage parent and student interactions.
- Leading classes, mentoring Guides, or developing curriculum content.
- Delaying action on every issue until a manager provides direction.
- Relying on multiple meetings to address campus needs that require immediate resolution.
- Viewing facilities, devices, vendors, or meal services as outside your scope of responsibility.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
- At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
- Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
