Junior Salesforce Developer
Location: Elgin, IL (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Salesforce Developer to join our team in Elgin, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Salesforce development, hands-on experience with Financial Services Cloud, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools
- Customize and enhance Salesforce Financial Services Cloud to support business requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, admins, and senior developers to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Maintain and improve existing Salesforce applications, ensuring performance and scalability
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for development, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs
- Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, SOQL, Lightning, etc.)
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and platform capabilities
- Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Aura Components
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite in Elgin, IL
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with AI capabilities within Salesforce (e.g., Einstein AI, Agentforce, or similar tools)
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or working toward it)
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
