Our team is partnering with a global leader in the logistics and supply chain industry to identify an experienced Finance Manager, Operations for a full-time direct hire opportunity.

This is a highly visible role supporting a nationwide operations network and is ideal for finance professionals who enjoy partnering with business leaders, driving profitability, analyzing operational performance, and influencing strategic decisions. The position offers a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional accounting responsibilities and become a key advisor to operational leadership.

Position Overview

The Finance Manager will serve as a strategic business partner to operations leadership, helping drive financial performance across a complex, multi-site environment. This role combines operational finance, controllership, FP&A, forecasting, and profitability analysis while providing critical insights that support business growth and cost optimization.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing data, identifying the root causes behind operational cost challenges, influencing leaders through financial insights, and developing actionable solutions that improve overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial planning activities
• Partner directly with business and operations leaders to support strategic decision-making
• Analyze operational and financial performance to identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and implement action plans that improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Drive KPI reporting, financial analysis, and business performance reviews
• Assess customer and site profitability and support improvement initiatives
• Support month-end close activities, ensuring accurate revenue, profit, and cost recognition
• Lead financial analysis related to new business opportunities and investments
• Benchmark performance across multiple operations and recommend best practices
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and corporate procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost control and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive finance, controllership, FP&A, or operational finance experience
• Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience supporting multiple locations, business units, or operational sites
• Collaborative approach and ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation
• Experience within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution environments
• Multi-site and/or multinational business experience
• Strong operational finance background
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Spanish language skills highly preferred

Compensation

Base Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 + Bonus
