Managing the Operations of Import & Export Merchant Trade Transaction

Job Duties & responsibilities

• Monitoring and Processing of Processing of Advance import, Direct Import payments, collection payment and FLC / ILC bill payments LC dispatch, No dispatch and collection dispatch under export, Merchant Trade transactions and payments.
• Knowledge on Nostro Reconciliation and rules pertaining to such recon and control activities.
• Knowledge of R returns, IDPMS
• Provide support as needed in the various departments, including reporting, making/checking of transactions, creation of PPTs, customer service as needed.
• Process transactions and maintain TAT for all MTT clients
• Oversee compliance checks and exception to be raise to concern stake holders.
• Ensure accurate settlement of transaction withing RBI guidelines
• Handle audit and customer queries and evidence submission
• Oversee reconciliation activities of old processed transactions under MTT
• Ensure timely verification and publishing all required reports including regulatory reporting.
• Strengthen process controls, documentation accuracy and adherence to internal/RBI guidelines
• Maintaining MTT Tracker and publishing to all stakeholders including Audit on daily basis.

Required Experience

• Should be having capabilities to effectively handle all types of customer complaints, enquiries Queries.
• Interacting with external service providers and correspondents like, beneficiary bank / issuing bank regarding any clarification with respect to Trade transactions.
• Excellent Client / Customer management skills, business orientation.
• Be capable to ensure smooth transition without impacting customer deliverables, to manage processes and metrics on a day-to-day basis,
• A positive and attitude to work in a team and provide proper assistance and support to the team as required,
• Capability to identify areas of risk and suggestions to mitigate.
• Sound Knowledge of merchant Trade, should know reporting part as well as identification of default cases
• Collaboration is need with various teams like Branch and Business for preparing the default reporting
• Should have sound knowledge for preparing the letters for Merchant Trade transaction default list.

Education / Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate

• Strategizing and Problem-solving skills
• Thorough Knowledge on FEMA, managed trade finance operations with minimum experience of 8- 10 years.
• Preferred having Knowledge of Trade
• Knowledge of URC and Import and Export of goods and services
