Senior Product Manager — Financial Services

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can think in systems, build from zero to one, and operate with the conviction of a product owner. This role is for someone who doesn't just manage a roadmap - they define it.

As SPM - Financial Services, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for our suite of financial tools - defining the product category, setting the roadmap, and building the frameworks that drive meaningful engagement with financial products at scale. As part of this, you will also identify and drive opportunities to embed AI and automation thoughtfully across the portfolio.

This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, data, and business. It demands structured thinking, deep data fluency, and an ability to work across engineering, analytics, lending and banking partners, and senior stakeholders simultaneously.

What You Will Own

Financial Tools Charter

• Define the vision and product charter for financial tools across the portfolio.
• Identify whitespace opportunities in how users interact with financial products and design experiences that are intuitive, actionable, and habit-forming.
• Build frameworks for how financial tools are discovered, adopted, and retained within the broader product ecosystem.
• Work with lending and banking partners to translate product requirements into integrations, and own the product layer of those relationships.

AI & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to apply AI/ML across the product portfolio - from personalisation and recommendations to process efficiency and smarter servicing.
• Work with data science and engineering teams to take AI-driven ideas from early experiment to production, with clear success metrics and feedback loops.

Product Execution & Data

• Manage sprints end-to-end: write crisp user stories, define acceptance criteria, prioritize the backlog, and ensure timely, quality delivery alongside engineering.
• Write complex SQL queries, build dashboards, and independently validate metrics - never taking a number at face value.
• Question data quality, identify pipeline gaps, and work with tech/analytics to close them.
• Act as the connective tissue between tech, business, design, analytics, and external partners - translating business needs into product requirements and technical constraints into clear trade-offs.

Who You Are

• You have 6+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3 years in Fintech or a high growth internet startup.
• You have chartered or re-chartered a product area before - you know what it means to define a problem space before building the solution.
• You are comfortable thinking about where AI creates genuine product leverage, and can work with data science and engineering teams to move from idea to execution.
• You are deeply data fluent - comfortable with SQL, dashboards, funnel analysis, and cohort metrics. You use data to challenge assumptions, not just validate them.
• You have shipped D2C consumer products with measurable acquisition, engagement, and retention outcomes.
• You thrive in ambiguity. You can operate without a playbook when needed, and you build the playbook for those who come after.
