About Position

The Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer will be responsible for building and operating scalable CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring solutions on AWS. This role is critical to ensuring secure, automated software delivery and highly reliable systems while driving standardization of DevOps and GitOps practices. The position requires strong hands-on expertise along with leadership capability, working closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and TeamCity
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows with a focus on speed, reliability, and security
• Define branching strategies, release processes, and quality gates including automated testing and code quality checks
• Implement GitOps-based deployment models using Argo CD
• Manage application lifecycle across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments
• Maintain Kubernetes manifests using Helm charts or Kustomize
• Ensure rollback strategies, versioning, and governance standards are enforced
• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch
• Ensure scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization
• Enforce AWS security best practices and cloud governance standards
• Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus and Zabbix
• Define SLIs, SLOs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and capacity planning reports
• Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
• Collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and leadership teams
• Define DevOps standards, documentation, and operational runbooks
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Participate in on-call rotations and reliability engineering activities
  
  

Expertise You'll Bring

• 6 to 10 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab, GitHub, and Argo CD
• Proven expertise with CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and TeamCity
• Strong experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Zabbix
• Solid Linux system administration skills
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience driving DevOps and GitOps best practices in enterprise environments
• Ability and willingness to learn and support new technologies in the DevOps ecosystem
• Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills
• AWS Solutions Architect certification (mandatory)
• DevOps certifications are a plus
• Prior experience in a lead or senior role preferred
