About Position:

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Senior Data Engineer with 12+ years of expertise in building scalable, cloud-native data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Databricks, Snowflake, and modern data engineering practices, along with strong leadership capabilities.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines using Databricks (PySpark, SQL) across Azure and GCP environments.
• Architect, implement, and manage Snowflake and BigQuery data warehouse solutions focusing on performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform advanced data analysis on healthcare datasets, including claims, EMR, HL7, and FHIR.
• Drive execution and coordinate engineering tasks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Implement data governance, security, and lineage frameworks using tools like Unity Catalog, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
• Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, automation strategies, and data engineering best practices.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong exposure to cloud-native data platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in:
• Databricks, PySpark, SQL
• Data pipeline architecture and orchestration
• Proven experience with:
• Snowflake and Google BigQuery
• Healthcare data formats such as FHIR, HL7, EMR, Claims data
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and services:
• Azure (ADF, Synapse)
• GCP (Cloud Composer, GCS, BigQuery)
• Hands-on experience with:
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for Data Engineering
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, mentoring, and coordination.
