Job Description
Projects may be delivered both on-premises and in cloud environments, depending on customer needs, architecture constraints, and project scope.
In this role, you will play a key part in the following activities:
- Designing and implementing modern data architectures, including Data Platforms, Data Mesh, Lambda/Kappa architectures, and scalable data ecosystems supporting analytics and AI use cases
- Modeling, analyzing, and developing Big Data solutions
- Implementing data integration, transformation, data quality, and data pipeline processes
- Working with structured, semi-structured, and time-series data from industrial environments
- Applying best practices in Data Governance, data security, scalability, and performance optimization
- Supporting the technical definition of data solutions across both cloud and on-premises infrastructures
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Automation Engineering, or another technical/scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Big Data Engineering, or similar roles
- Experience in data modeling on modern data architectures, spanning relational databases such as PostgreSQL, NoSQL systems, time-series databases such as TimescaleDB, and Big Data technologies built on open-source ecosystems
- Knowledge of Big Data frameworks and technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka
- Experience in designing Big Data architectures and modern Data Warehouses
- Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD principles, and Data Virtualization concepts
- Experience with cloud environments and/or virtualized infrastructures is considered a plus
- Ability to work in distributed architectures, including solutions deployed on VM-based environments
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
