Job description:

Position Title –Engineer / Sr. Engineer- Quality (E & I)

Job Location – Pune

Educational Qualifications Required: Degree / Diploma in instrumentation, electrical, electronic engineering, or related discipline.

Experience Required

• Experince-2-10 Years

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

To play a lead role in understanding client requisition, defining quality requirements, conducting inspections, implementation of quality standards and resolving quality issues on assigned projects

Factor I: Accountability

• Review supplier procedures (fabrication, FAT, calibration etc), inspection & test plan, manufacturer record book and ensure domestic or international client approval for the same.

• Review the manufacturer test reports, area classification certificates, ingress protection certificates, calibration certificates, type test reports, routine test reports, sample test reports, mill certificates etc. with traceability and compliance to Project / national/international standard requirements.

• Perform inspection of raw material, electrical and instrumentation components (analyzers, control panel, tubes, fittings, actuated valves etc.), and integrated systems for domestic or international projects.

• Coordinate with customer, 3rd party inspection agency for the supplier inspection process.

• Assist in company ISO activities like quality management certification/surveillance audits, awareness programmes, process improvement, etc.

• Ensure quality business process-specific standards, procedures, work instructions, template are adhered to & demonstrate compliance in internal, project or external audits.

• Provide E&I quality relevant specific input regarding QA/QC concerns highlighted by client & report product non-conformances/issues during project execution. Support in investigation, corrective action implementation and satisfactory closure of quality issues.

• Report E&I suppliers/fabricator quality performance on assigned project through tools like material NCR and provide input for quality developments to suppliers/fabricator.

• Execute assigned tasks on effectively percolating global quality Initiatives in respective projects & contribute to continuous improvements.

Factor II: Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum Qualification – Degree / Diploma in instrumentation, electrical, electronic engineering, or related discipline.

• Experience in Oil & Gas, chemical, petrochemical industry. EPC/TPI experience preferred.

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry equipment, instruments, tubing, HVAC, integration and metering skids.

• Basic knowledge of Welding, NDE and Painting activities with relevant national and international codes/standards.

• Well conversant with NEC, IEC, British etc international and Indian standards related to industry.

• Demonstrate personal commitment to safety and quality culture.

• Conversant with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF for data analysis etc.

• ISO 9001:2015 Internal or Lead auditor will be considered as an added advantage.
