Role Overview:

Were seeking a QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in both functional and security-

focused testing. This role combines hands-on test execution, automation, and tooling for

cloud-native systems with a focus on integration and dependency security. If youre driven by the pursuit of clean releases, secure deployments, and automation at scale, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute manual and automated test cases for complex applications

across frontend, backend, and APIs.

Lead and contribute to integration testing strategies that validate real-world service

interoperability.

Perform QA in cloud environments (e.g., AWS/GCP), validating reliability, resilience,

and infrastructure configurations.

Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and tools for functional and

security tests.

Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential vulnerabilities.

Manage and validate SBOMs (Software Bill of Materials) to ensure open-source and

third-party dependency integrity.

Utilize SCA tools (e.g., Snyk, Mend, Trivy) to detect and track known CVEs.

Integrate security and functional QA into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast feedback and

continuous coverage.

Advocate for quality and security best practices in cross-functional team discussions.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional QA experience, including both manual and automation
• testing.
• Strong Python skills for writing and maintaining automated tests and test utilities.
• Hands-on experience testing cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of integration testing techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure application
• behavior.
• Experience managing SBOMs and leveraging SCA tools (e.g., Snyk, Trivy, Mend).
• Comfort working with Git-based workflows and CI systems (e.g., GitHub Actions,
• GitLab CI).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as
• part of a team

Nice-to-Haves:

Exposure to cloud security practices, IAM policy validation, or infrastructure as code

testing.

Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) for QA.

Knowledge of load/performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
