Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable batch data pipelines for our Commissions & Payouts platform. This role requires strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle Data Warehouse, along with deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data quality, and financial data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines using PostgreSQL, integrating with Oracle Data Warehouse
• Build scalable solutions for commissions and payouts processing systems
• Handle critical financial workflows including:
• GST, TDS, and PT computations
• Insurance transaction processing
• Invoice and UTR ingestion
• Data reconciliation and reporting
• Implement audit-ready data pipelines and controls ensuring data accuracy and compliance
• Develop and maintain data models for reporting and dashboards
• Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards
• Integrate APIs for data movement and system interoperability
• Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for secure data handling
• Collaborate with Business, Finance, and Technology teams for requirement gathering and delivery

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in PostgreSQL and Oracle Database (6+ years)
• Hands-on expertise in ETL/ELT development and Data Warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in complex SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience with data reconciliation, audit controls, and financial data processing
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and validation techniques
• Experience in API integrations and data ingestion pipelines
• Knowledge of RBAC and data security practices

Domain Expertise (Preferred):

• Experience in Insurance domain (Commissions & Payouts, Policy processing)
• Understanding of:
• Channel hierarchies and commission structures
• Regulatory reporting (IRDAI, Schedule VI A)
• Familiarity with:
• GST ITC reconciliation
• QR / e-invoice processing
• Taxation workflows (GST, TDS)

Good to Have:

• Experience with dashboard data modeling (BI tools like Power BI/Tableau)
• Exposure to data pipeline orchestration tools
• Knowledge of Python/Shell scripting
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
