We're looking for a Cloud Developer with Database Products expertise to:

• part of Database Product Agile POD to develop and improve database infrastructure services mainly PostgreSQL and Databases on Azure Cloud.
• provide infrastructure services that are easy to consume and efficient to operate, making effective use of cloud capabilities (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• apply a broad range of engineering practices, from analyzing requirements and developing new features to automation by design, automated testing, deployment and Infrastructure as a Code
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• passionate technologist with continuous learning record and leadership edge to bring difference
• learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in the Hosting Services – Database team in India, Pune/Mumbai focusing on managed database offerings comprised of: product engineering, maintenance and operations for PostgreSQL Server databases on premises and in Azure. Our products are consumed by AppDev teams across business divisions, globally.

Your expertise

• bachelor or masters degree or equivalent focusing on Azure Cloud Development, PostgreSQL Database development
• ideally 7+ years of experience as infrastructure engineer focused on Database technology and Azure Cloud Development within the finance sector
• Deep knowledge on DevOPS, CI/CD, Git and Automation Frameworks
• Expert in PowerShell, Azure Shell, Bash
• Expert with Infra as a Code development with Terraform or ARM
• Experience in one of the development skills like Python, C#
• strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
• new technology introduction including process and workflow optimization, technology integration and operating model definition / optimization
• good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
• confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
• experience leading a group of infrastructure engineers will be an added advantage
