YOUR TASKS

Lead Mechanical Product Design Engineer

Key Skill Sets

• Strong mechanical design fundamentals including plastics, sheet metal, castings, and assemblies.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Experience in product development from concept, design, validation, to production launch.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Ability to select materials and manufacturing processes based on performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
• Experience with engineering validation, testing, failure analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Understanding of quality tools such as DFMEA, risk assessment, and change management processes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers.
• Project leadership skills including planning, technical decision-making, and mentoring team members.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for technical reviews, customer interactions, and management reporting.
  
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in mechanical product design
• Good Knowledge of 3D drawings and concept development Using CATIA tools
• Sound Knowledge of GD&T and stack up analysis calculation
• Good communication skills and experience in interacting with global customers
• Good Knowledge of motor child parts manufacturing processes
