Role: Junior Copywriter

About the Team and the Role

The Creative, Marketing team at Ather is responsible for building brand Ather, creating in-house creative assets, telling stories about refined auto engineering, and shifting the perceptions of millions of Indians regarding EVs. The team focuses on out-of-the-box ideas, advertising innovation, and experimenting with LLMs and generative AI by working closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and brand managers to craft brand stories from scratch.

This role is for a Junior Copywriter who will be the brand custodian of all written communication created for Ather, taking responsibility for thinking of campaigns and writing copy for building brand awareness, engaging the existing community, and promoting new products.

Responsibilities

• Build copy and content to support business and marketing objectives.
• Launch campaigns across film, OOH, print, on-ground, radio, digital activations, reels, social campaigns, meme campaigns, and advertising.
• Work closely with the film production team to execute films.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on communication, design, and content to deliver solutions for business problems.
• Keep the logo small.

Experience and Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications don't matter as long as you have a way with words, exceptional design sensibilities, creative thinking, and excellent communications skills.
• 0-2 years of experience leading copy/design/content or business communications team.

Must Have Competencies

• Crafting compelling advertising copy and content tailored for diverse channels including film, OOH, print, radio, and digital activations.
• Developing creative concepts and scripts for film production and multimedia marketing campaigns.
• Conceptualizing high-engagement social media content, including reels, social campaigns, and meme marketing.
• Driving cross-functional creative collaboration with design and communication teams to solve business challenges.

Good to Have Competencies

• Utilizing LLMs and generative AI tools for creative copywriting and advertising innovation.
• Professional training in creative writing, copywriting, or business communication.
• Managing end-to-end brand communication guidelines and acting as a brand copy custodian.
