Overview

Lutron's Gurgaon team is seeking a technically driven professional to lead our SAP support and delivery function. In this role, you will leverage your deep SAP expertise to solve complex business challenges, drive system stability, and deliver high-quality solutions that support critical business operations.

You'll collaborate closely with a team of skilled Computer Science and IT professionals, contributing to strategic initiatives, optimizing enterprise processes, and enhancing the efficiency of our global operations and overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across SAP landscapes (SAP Basis and/or BTP), ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability.
• Oversee ABAP development, CPI integrations, and IDOC processing, ensuring robust and high-quality technical solutions.
• Monitor and proactively manage IDOC errors (inbound/outbound), ensuring timely resolution and prevention of recurrence.
• Lead root cause analysis and collaborate with technical and functional teams to resolve complex issues end-to-end.
• Design and deliver Fiori applications, tiles, and reports aligned with business requirements.
• Lead day-to-day team execution, prioritize workstreams, and ensure alignment with business and IT objectives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, status reporting, and solution alignment.
• Define, track, and continuously improve team KPIs, metrics, and delivery quality standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members, driving career growth, capability building, and technical excellence.
• Lead onboarding and structured training programs for new hires and upskilling initiatives across SAP modules.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across geographies to deliver integrated solutions and resolve critical issues effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement, governance, and incident resolution, embedding lessons learned and best practices across the team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a 4-year engineering/technology degree, with 60% or above.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in SAP technical roles.
• Experience in SAP Basis and/or SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), including system administration and platform operations.
• Experience working as an SAP S/4HANA developer.
• Proficiency in ABAP development, including reports, enhancements, and performance considerations.
• Experience with IDOC processing, including monitoring and troubleshooting inbound and outbound integrations.
• Experience with SAP Fiori (apps, tiles, UI5) and CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
• Understanding of software development processes and methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• Demonstrated ability to identify platform improvements and contribute to solution enhancements.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Customer-focused approach with attention to detail and commitment to work quality.

• Exposure to EDI integrations and related standards.
• Experience working in cross-functional or global team environments.
• Familiarity with SAP integration landscapes beyond core modules.
