Job Title: Flutter Junior Developer (Web + Mobile)

Role Overview

We are hiring a Flutter Junior Developer with 23 years of hands-on experience in Flutter application development for Web and Mobile platforms. The candidate should have strong Dart fundamentals, a good understanding of Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation, API integration, and state management basics, and should be able to contribute to modular, production-oriented codebases under guidance from senior developers.

Mandatory Technical Skills

1. Dart Fundamentals

• Strong understanding of:
• Variables / data types
• Lists / Maps / Sets
• Loops / conditions
• Functions / arrow functions
• Null safety
• Classes / objects / constructors
• Async / await / Futures / Streams
• Must be comfortable solving:
• list transformation
• filtering / mapping
• JSON parsing
• basic logic problems

2. Flutter Fundamentals

• Good understanding of:
• StatelessWidget
• StatefulWidget
• widget tree
• BuildContext
• navigation basics
• Flutter app flow (main.dart runApp())

Must understand:

• Scaffold
• AppBar
• Drawer
• BottomNavigationBar
• ListView
• GridView
• FutureBuilder
• StreamBuilder

3. UI / Layout Skills

Good hands-on experience with:

• Row
• Column
• Expanded
• Flexible
• Stack
• Padding
• Container
• Wrap

Should be able to build:

• responsive mobile screens
• basic web/tablet responsive layouts
• forms
• list/detail screens
• reusable widgets

4. State Management (Basic to Intermediate)

Should have working knowledge of:

• Provider
• Bloc / Cubit (preferred)
• Riverpod (good to have)

Must understand:

• state updates
• rebuild behavior
• passing data across widgets
• separating UI state from business logic (at least basic level)

5. API Integration

Experience in:

• REST API calls
• JSON parsing
• model creation
• loading/error states
• displaying API data in lists/forms

Preferred:

• dio / http
• basic repository/service separation

6. Web + Mobile Awareness

• Must have exposure to Flutter Web
• Should understand:
• MediaQuery
• LayoutBuilder
• basic responsiveness
• basic platform differences between Web and Mobile
• kIsWeb (basic awareness)

7. Plugin / Package Usage

Hands-on experience with common packages such as:

• Shared_preferences
• Flutter_secure_storage (good to have)
• Image_picker
• File_picker
• Connectivity_plus
• intl

Should understand:

• adding dependencies in pubspec.yaml
• basic Android/iOS permission handling

8. Debugging / Code Quality

• Able to debug common errors
• Understands console logs / stack traces
• Familiarity with Git
• Follows coding standards and code review comments
• Basic unit/widget testing knowledge (good to have)

Must-Have Screening Conditions

• Must be comfortable with Dart fundamentals
• Must be able to solve basic coding problems live
• Must understand the difference between List / Map / Set
• Must have worked on at least one real Flutter project
• Mobile-only candidates can be considered, but Flutter Web exposure is strongly preferred
