Your Role And Responsibilities

• As a DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include build and Deploy Systems, work in an Agile, collaborative environment to build, deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installations, updates, and core services.
• Implement, test, and deploy solutions, while managing problem identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and with defect prevention techniques.
• Automate test and deploy code, and monitor to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Drive incidents, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions to closure, building common tooling to solve problems and prevent repetition.
  
  

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Strong capability in building, deploying, configuring, and maintaining systems within an Agile and collaborative environment, including managing software installations, upgrades, and core services.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and ensure high-quality results.
• Exposure to continuous integration environments, automation testing and deployment to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Experience working with infrastructure management, including incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Expertise in DevOps, Python, Shell scripting, Groovy and Jenkins.
• Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Familiarity with z/OS architecture and z/OS subsystems like CommServer, ANT scripting and Java.
