Role & responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and review various legal documents, including Master Service Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Term Loan Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, Loan Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Customer Communication Templates, Power of Attorneys, HR-related Agreements, Lease Agreements, and Leave and License Agreements.
- Advise on the impact and consequences of new laws and regulations affecting the company's operations.
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to all departments within the organization.
- Keep track of and stay updated on the latest trends, developments, and best practices in local law related to mortgage, security creation, and loan documentation.
- Maintain legal documentation, files, and Management Information Systems (MIS) to ensure smooth operations.
- Apply risk management techniques to prevent potential legal issues and offer proactive advice.
Preferred candidate profile
- 10+ Year experience in Corporate Legal.
- Preference will be given to Housing Finance, Banking or NBFC candidates only.
- Enterprising and solution-oriented personality.
- Ability to handle high pressure situations in a calm and composed way.
- Being Responsive and approachable.
- Effective Drafting skills, training & development of legal knowledge.
- Proficiency in inspecting and guiding all the legal assignments and agreements with effective communication & problem-solving skills.
