Job Overview
Coforge Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Scala or Java, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, data pipeline development, and database interactions using SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance batch and real-time data pipelines using Apache Spark
- Develop robust and scalable applications using Scala or Java, following best practices and OOP principles
- Build and manage real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
- Perform efficient CRUD operations and data transformations using SQL Server
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to understand data requirements
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across data platforms
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot data-related issues
