Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Network Automation Engineer / Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python programming, network automation, and Kubernetes, along with solid understanding of telecom/networking protocols (L2–L7). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automation solutions for modern network infrastructures, improving efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop network automation solutions using Python
- Automate configuration, provisioning, and monitoring of network devices
- Work on Kubernetes-based deployments for network applications and services
- Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, and automation frameworks
- Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with network and DevOps teams to streamline operations
- Troubleshoot and optimize network performance and automation workflows
- Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of network systems
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in Python programming (5–10 years)
- Hands-on experience in network automation (using tools/frameworks like Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, etc.)
- Good experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
- Strong understanding of Telecom/Networking protocols or L2–L7 protocols such as:
- L2: VLAN, STP, VXLAN
- L3: IP, OSPF, BGP
- L4–L7: TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with container networking (CNI, service mesh)
- Understanding of SDN/NFV architectures
- Exposure to telecom domains (5G, EPC, IMS, OSS/BSS)
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in telecom/networking product or services companies
